Forklift Truck Operator

Job Description

The forklift truck operator participates in the factory’s daily operations.

Tasks

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operate one or different types of fork lifts
• Supply production lines, trucks and containers
• Help with handling, if production needs assistance
• Manage orders slips before shipping
• Manage raw material products shipments

Requested skills

• Experience in manipulating one or different types of lifting engines
• Have good spacial skills to optimize products storage according to the available space in the warehouse, truck or container
• Adapt handling mode to the products type depending on its weight and resistance
• Know and apply safety rules
• Ability to enter data in a computer
• Comply to the regulations and procedures of the company when it comes to human resources, HACCP and ISO

Personal skills and qualities: team spirit, diplomacy, good judgment, initiative, versatility, stress tolerance, fine motor skills, good physical ability, reliable and on-time.
